ONEflight is providing the opportunity to get in from the ground up in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone that is driven, quick to learn, quick to own their role and responsibilities, has a solutions-oriented mindset, and regularly seeks to find new and creative ways to solve problems. Ideally, the Quality Assurance Tester will have at least one to two years of experience in a Software Development related testing role, with heavy focus on working with multiple teams across business units, domains, and expertise.

What you bring to the table (at a minimum):

  • 2+ years of experience working in a Software Development or Engineering environment in a Quality Assurance or Testing capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Technical Documentation such as User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Test Cases, or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience of Manual Testing from Test Cases or Test Scripts.
  • 2+ Experience in Manual Testing across different devices and platforms (Web, Mobile, API)
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies, principles, and best practices
  • Exposure to Agile Ceremonies such as Stand Ups, Sprint Grooming, Planning, and Retrospectives.
  • Technologically minded, savvy, and capable – ability to learn new platforms and software relatively quickly.
  • Methodical, purposeful, detail-oriented thinking is highly valued in and required for this position.
  • A teamwork-oriented attitude and approach to work is required to succeed in this position.

What we’re looking for (in an ideal world):

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA, CA Rally, or similar platforms.
  • Technical writing experience (specifically writing test scripts, cases, plans, approaches)
  • Helpdesk/support experience for a web-based software product
  • Knowledge of web browsers and browser types
  • Familiarity with QA tracking features in Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Postman or similar platform for testing API calls
  • Helpdesk/support experience for a web-based & mobile software product.


  • Manually test the functionality of web sites and mobile applications.
  • Perform exploratory and regression testing.
  • Perform focused testing of newly developed features.
  • Document test cases and results for newly developed features.
  • Create clear and concise Technical Documentation (Defect Reports, Reject Reasons, Defect Resolution/Work-around Steps).
  • Participate in and Contribute to all Agile Ceremonies.
  • Maintain accurate statuses and report on active assigned Azure Dev Ops Work Items.
  • Proactively work to ensure the growth of QA skillsets and Testing Approaches and Procedures.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for existing and new products.
  • Availability for occasional after-hours post deployment regression testing when necessary.
  • Work with IT Support to perform initial Defect Reviews and Analysis on escalated tickets.
  • Bring a positive attitude to your work and team every day.

Salary Range: $60K - $75k

Position: Office based (No Remote)
